The Certificate IV in Massage Therapy is delivered full-time on campus and is available in two study formats:
Fast Track (FT) – 24 weeks
Delivered as part of our Diploma of Remedial Massage pathway, studying alongside Australian domestic students.
Standard (ST) – 42 weeks (International E-Classroom)
Designed for students who prefer a longer, more flexible schedule, allowing you to study at your own pace while reducing study pressure.
Pathway to Remedial Massage and Myotherapy
For students seeking a long-term career in massage and allied health, the HLT52021 Diploma of Remedial Massage is widely regarded as the minimum industry standard. This qualification offers advanced treatment skills and allows clients to claim private health insurance rebates.
From there, Myotherapy is considered the highest vocational qualification in manual therapy. The good news is that you can seamlessly upgrade to the Diploma of Remedial Massage after completing the Certificate IV, making this course the perfect first step in your professional journey.

HLT42021 Certificate IV in Massage Therapy
As a relaxation therapist you will be able to treat the soft tissue of the body, to help clients achieve improved circulation, pain relief, reduced stress and anxiety, assisted recovery from injury, aided sleep and relaxation, and enhanced flexibility.
You can study either full-time oncampus in class or, you can choose for self-directed online study but with on-campus support from our tutors in our E-classroom (SDEC mode) if you require a more flexible schedule of study.
