Myotherapy Course Overview
The Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy has been designed to be flexible, with a combination of on-campus, on-the-job, and online learning from home, to fit around the busy schedules of working Therapists. The course will take 18 months to complete, requiring just 3 standard contact days per month on-campus. We offer our Myotherapy course at our Brisbane, Gold Coast & Sunshine Coast campuses.
As a myotherapist you will have enhanced treatment options over Remedial Therapists such as cupping, dry needling, mobilisation techniques, corrective exercise plans, and TENs. You will be able to treat more complex conditions, including myofascial and joint pain and dysfunction, as well as pain derived from the nervous system, which allows you to assist a broader range of clients.

Myotherapy Advantage Scholarship
- Our ‘Myotherapy Advantage’ Scholarship saves you $4,500 from the standard course fee of the 22656VIC Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy. if eligible.
- You will be eligible if you have graduated with Q Academy’s Advanced Rehab HLT52015/HLT52021 Diploma of Remedial Massage program so you will automatically receive the “Myotherapy Advantage” Scholarship worth $4,500.
- The “Myotherapy Advantage” Scholarship can only be applied to reduce the course fee of 22656VIC Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy program standard course from $9,960 to just $5,460 if you enrol within 2 years of graduating from our Advanced Rehab Diploma program..
- The remaining $5,460 fee can be self financed as follows:- The VU23639 Dry Needling subjects requires a one-time payment of $1,500 . The remaining $3,960 can be paid in 18 monthly payments of $220 a month.
Payment Options without “Myotherapy Advantage” Scholarship
The standard course tuition fee for the 22656VIC Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy is $9,960. There is an additional $35 materials fee that is payable on enrolment.
The $1,500 subject fee for VU23639 Myofascial Dry Needling is not eligible for a payment plan and needs to be self-financed. If you have already completed the VU23639 Myofascial Dry Needling subject, you will be eligible for Direct Credit Transfer to the value of $1,500.
The remaining $8,460 course tuition fee (exclusive the Dry Needling fee) can be financed in equal monthly instalments over an 18 month period. Your instalments would be $470 per month ($470 x 18 = $8,460).
*Applications and fees for Q Academy’s Skilled Therapist Discount or Recognition of Prior Learning are evaluated on a case by case basis, based on evidence supplied at the time of enrolment.

Study Pathway
The 22656VIC Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy is the Highest VET qualification in Alternative Therapies and Physical Health. It is equal to an associate degree, which could allow you to earn credits towards a University degree, should you wish to explore further study options.
