As a Remedial Therapist you will have advanced knowledge and technical skills to treat a variety of clients with a range of presenting injuries, dysfunctions and concerns. The course includes anatomy and physiology, first aid, clinic management skills, plus relaxation massage techniques such as Swedish Massage, reflexology, seated massage, trigger points, Thai and sports massage. You will also learn myofascial and positional release techniques, orthopaedic testing, manual lymphatic drainage, injury prevention screening, offer nutrition advice, thermotherapy, and much more. This will give you a fantastic opportunity for a rewarding career in massage, and the opportunity to work in multi-modality clinics, private practice, as well as wellness clinics. This course will make you eligible for provider numbers, to offer clients with private health insurance a rebate on remedial massage treatments.

About our unmatched E-Classroom Flexibility 

We all know everybody is time-poor. With our E-Classroom delivery, you are in control of your schedule. Our industry leading E-Classroom is a hybrid program with a combination of on-campus massage classes and clinic in Sydney plus supervised self-directed online study conducted on-campus in our E-Classroom. You will have a Course Coach in the E-classroom to ask questions and provide support, and you’ll have your peers to practice on and motivate each other with the unique advantage of a more flexible schedule than a standard fixed weekly classroom schedule.

You should expect to allocate at least 1 day per week on-campus for your classroom study day, and 1 day per week practicing in the student clinic in Castle Hill in Sydney’s North-West . You can change your classroom study day to suit your schedule or study from home as required. The advantage of E-Classrooms is that you can liaise with your Course Coach to make sure you’re meeting the course requirements and staying on top of your workload, while also being able to make time for the demands of your work, family, holidays and personal life.
