We are always excited by the opportunity to offer our students experiences treating clients outside our clinic, in fun and varied environments.
That is why we offer event hire services, for events within 15km of our nearest Student Clinic location.
If you are familiar with our student clinics, you will know that we offer massage treatments at a discounted rate of $30 per hour. Which will go towards the student’s prac and experience hours needed to earn their qualification. All clients are required to complete a Health History and consent form, and all therapists will be supervised. We operate and charge for external events similarly: $30 per hour, per therapist. We do however include an additional charge of $230 per event, for the transportation cost of all therapists, equipment and materials needed, as well as the supervisor cost. Please note that we require a minimum of 3 student therapists per event, for a minimum of 3 hours.

Students attending external events will be covered by Association insurance, however, Q Academy must receive a copy of the event holder’s Public Liability and Personal Indemnity Insurance Certificate of Currency, that lists Q Academy and its staff and students as an interested party for this location and event.
We generally advise 2-3 weeks lead time for an event. Payment must be received no later than 7 days before the agreed event date to ensure service can be provided. The event holder can only receive a full refund if requested up to 2 days prior to the booked event date, after which the payment is non-refundable.
