Diploma of Remedial Massage (Sports Therapy Program)

This is our most extensive Remedial Massage Program available. It builds on the HLT52015 Diploma of Remedial Massage (Advanced Rehab Program), but also includes additional sports-related qualifications such as the ASCA Level 1 Strength and Conditioning Coaching, SIS30813 Certificate III in Sports Trainer and Advanced First Aid. It is comprehensive, hands-on training, to give you the flexibility to have an exciting career spanning multiple industries. Work alongside sports and community clubs, elite athletes, professional teams, coaches, trainers and physiotherapists. You could provide massage treatments as part of post-game recovery; train athletes in the gym or on the field to improve their physical strength and fitness, or provide on-the-field support and advanced first aid.

Accredited Qualification

Q Academy is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO 31896) with the Australian Skills & Qualifications Authority. Q Academy is approved to offer the HLT52015 Diploma of Remedial Massage and the SIS30813 Certificate III in Sports Trainer, which are Nationally Accredited courses.

ASCA is the peak national body for Strength and Conditioning professionals in Australia. Q Academy is approved to offer the ASCA accredited Level 1 Strength and Conditioning course.

Once you have graduated and obtained your Statement of Results, you will be eligible to apply for membership with leading massage associations such as ANTA, MMA or AMT. Industry membership is a requirement in order to apply for Private Healthcare Provider Numbers, to offer clients Private Healthcare rebates for Remedial Massage. Your Association can also offer support and guidance, keep you up-to-date with industry changes and regulations, assist with employment advice and limited legal advice, and can offer discounts on professional insurance.
